The International Training Symposium for Typhoon and Flood Disaster Reduction on May 7-9, 2007
We proposed the ˇ§International Cooperation on Research and Training Programsˇ¨ in order to enhance collaborations on science and technology with the developing countries. In complying with this project, a short-term training program is organized on hazard mitigation with an emphasis on typhoon-related disasters. All governmental agency officials and engineers in the developing Asian and Mid-South American countries are invited to share their experience on response to the impacts of the related disasters.
