2008 颱洪災害國際研習營 International Training Workshop on Typhoon and Flood Disaster Reduction

事件內容:

颱洪國際研習營歷年來的課程主要以氣象、洪旱、土石流及社會經濟等相關專業項目為主,並以研討會的方式進行,將國內在防災的發展介紹給東南亞與中南美國家所遴選之政府官員以及工程人員,同時藉由相關的參訪行程讓來自各地的學員體驗到我國在防災的實際發展成果。今年的颱洪國際研習營以非工程的防災方法為主,其中社區防災和強化地方政府防災能力為兩個主要的課題。經由過去重大災害經驗的檢討與分析,發現社區是降低易致災性、減少人員死亡與經濟損失最根本的一環;近幾年來國內的部分政府單位紛紛推動防災社區的相關計畫,以期能強化位於整體災害防救體系中最基層之「社區」的災害防救能量,並有不錯的成果。有鑑於此,此次的課程期望透過「社區防救災工作」的介紹及經驗分享,提供他國學員了解國內社區防災工作的推動現況。
