A delegation from Taiwan’s diplomatic allies’ Permanent Missions to the United Nations in Geneva visited the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction (NCDR), accompanied by Director-General Lee of the Taipei Representative Office in Geneva. The delegation included Ambassador José Francisco Calí Tzay of Guatemala and his wife, Ambassador Ann-Kathryne Lassègue of Haiti and her husband, as well as Deputy Permanent Representative Samuel K. Lanwi, Jr. of the Marshall Islands and his wife. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on Taiwan’s disaster risk reduction technologies and applications, and engaged in an exchange of relevant experiences.
