The “U.S. Scholars and Experts Delegation” visited the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction (NCDR) on July 20. Comprising scholars and experts from U.S. universities and policy research organizations, the delegation sought to gain a better understanding of Taiwan-U.S. relations and Taiwan’s current international engagement, as well as to learn more about Taiwan’s advances and achievements in disaster risk reduction science and technology research, development, and applications.
