On September 22, Republic of Palau Vice President and Minister of Health and Human Services, the Hon. Raynold B. Oilouch, accompanied by Madam Eunice Isebong Rudimch, led a delegation on a visit to NCDR. The delegation was received by NCDR Director Hongey Chen. The visit aimed to continue and further strengthen the longstanding cooperation and friendship between Taiwan and Palau in the field of disaster prevention and reduction technology.

Director Chen expressed his hope that the visit would serve as an opportunity to further deepen exchanges in disaster risk reduction technology between Taiwan and Palau. Through locally tools, knowledge sharing, and capacity-building initiatives, the two sides can translate their existing foundation for cooperation into practical and actionable areas of collaboration. He also looked forward to Taiwan and Palau working together to build safer and more resilient communities.
