2019 International Training Workshop on Natural Disaster Reduction_Applying Social media in Disaster Reduction
The Workshop focused on all innovative applications of social media in helping disaster risk management and emergency preparedness. Case studies of individual social media are to be presented by invited speakers. Through sharing and discussing, all participants will also join brainstorming in what and how to define effective two-way risk communications through social media.

Nepal Visit for DRR collaboration
Base on the MoU between NCDR and Nepalese municipalities of Baijanath Rural and Kohalpur, NCDR delegates visited Nepal to discuss the further collaboration about the earthquake monitoring and information system for disaster risk management.
The National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction (NCDR), serving as a technical advisor to the Executive Yuan (Cabinet) on disaster prevention and reduction affairs, was established in July 2003.
